For the last six years C.E.C. Ltd have been involved in the development of two speed technology for boats. Having already produced and patented a robust internal two speed gearbox in association with Advanced Marine Systems Ltd.

C.E.C. Ltd have continued this research and development and in collaboration with Newage Transmissions Ltd have licensed to them the production & marketing of the world's first Two Speed drive leg, "StepDrive" under their PRM brand.
